General Facility & First Visit
Is Pickleball Kingdom indoors and climate-controlled?
Yes. Pickleball Kingdom Pflugerville is an indoor, climate-controlled pickleball facility, so players can enjoy pickleball without worrying about heat, rain, wind, or outdoor court conditions.
What are your facility hours?
Court reservations are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for eligible members, subject to court availability, scheduled open play, leagues, events, and programming. Staffed hours, open play times, and event schedules may vary, so please check the app or contact the front desk if you need help.
Is parking available?
Yes. Parking is available at the facility. Please allow a few extra minutes before your first visit so you have time to park, check in, and get ready to play.
How early should I arrive before my session?
We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early, especially for your first visit. This gives you time to check in, complete any required waiver, change shoes if needed, warm up, and find your assigned court or group.
What should I bring for my first visit?
Wear comfortable athletic clothing and court-friendly shoes. If you have a paddle, bring it, but you do not need one for your first visit. We have paddles available for players who are new, visiting, or trying pickleball for the first time. We also recommend bringing water, although drinks are available for purchase at the facility.
What should I wear to play pickleball?
Wear comfortable athletic clothing and clean, non-marking court shoes. Court shoes are strongly recommended because they provide better side-to-side support and help protect the playing surface.
Is there a spectator area for non-players?
Yes. We have designated spectator areas, including a mezzanine, where friends and family can watch. Non-players should remain in designated areas for safety and to keep courts clear for players.
Do you have food and drinks available?
Yes. Drinks and select snacks are available for purchase. Food and beverage options may vary, and private events may have additional options depending on the event format.
Is alcohol available?
Yes. Pickleball Kingdom Pflugerville has a beer and wine permit, which allows us to sell beer, wine, and select seltzers. Please contact us directly if you are planning a private event or want to confirm current beverage options.
Are kids allowed to play?
Yes. Kids may participate in appropriate programs, court reservations, or events, but they must be supervised and follow facility rules. Some sessions may be restricted by age, skill level, or program type, so please check the specific event or contact us if you are unsure.
Memberships & Getting Started
How do I become a member?
You can become a member by selecting the membership package that best fits your needs and signing up online. If you would rather talk with someone first, call us, email us, or stop by the facility and our team will help you choose the right membership.
Do I have to be good at pickleball to join?
No. Pickleball Kingdom Pflugerville is beginner-friendly, and many of our members are new or newer players. We offer beginner open play, intro classes, socials, and programs designed to help new players learn the game, meet people, and feel comfortable on court.
Can I try Pickleball Kingdom before becoming a member?
Yes. Non-members can visit through select open play sessions, beginner classes, private events, court reservations, or other available programs. Availability may vary, so we recommend creating a free account and checking the current schedule or contacting us if you need help finding the best first visit option.
What is the best membership for me?
The best membership depends on how often you plan to play, whether you want court reservations, whether you are joining individually or with family, and whether you want access to additional benefits. Our team can help you compare options and choose the membership that fits your playing schedule.
Are memberships month-to-month?
Membership terms may vary by membership type and promotion. Please review the current membership details before joining, including billing, minimum commitment, cancellation policy, and included benefits.
Will you limit how many members there are?
We manage membership levels and session capacity carefully so players have better access to courts, open play, and a positive playing experience. If demand exceeds available court capacity, we may limit session sizes, waitlists, or membership availability to reduce overcrowding and wait times.
How do I cancel my membership?
Membership cancellation must be submitted according to the current membership agreement and cancellation policy. All cancellation requests must be sent in writing to
[email protected] before your next billing date so there is a clear record of the request.
Equipment, Lessons & Skill Level
Do I need my own paddle?
No. You are welcome to bring your own paddle, but you do not need one for your first visit. We have paddles available for new players, guests, and visitors who are trying pickleball for the first time.
Do you provide equipment rental?
Yes. We offer paddles and balls for players who do not have their own equipment. Rental paddles from various paddle brands are available for $5 per day. We also have a Titan Ace ball machine available for eligible court reservations.
Do you offer ball machine rental?
Yes. We have a Titan Ace ball machine available for eligible court reservations. Current pricing is $25 per hour or a $40–$50 per month add-on depending on membership type, subject to availability and current membership rules.
Do you offer beginner classes or Pickleball 101?
Yes. Beginners can start with our free Pickleball 101 class, which teaches the basics in a welcoming, easy-to-follow format. We also offer beginner-friendly programs to help new players learn the rules, scoring, positioning, and how open play works.
Do you offer private lessons or coaching?
Yes. We offer beginner instruction, private lessons, group lessons, clinics, and other coaching opportunities for players who want to improve. Availability depends on coach schedules, court availability, and current programming.
How do I know what skill level to sign up for?
Choose the level that best matches your current playing experience. Beginners are typically newer players still learning scoring, positioning, and consistency. Intermediate players have more control, can sustain rallies, and understand basic strategy. Advanced players are more consistent, competitive, and comfortable with faster-paced play. If you are unsure, our team can help guide you to the right level.
What happens if I sign up for the wrong skill level?
If you are unsure of your level, start with the lower or more comfortable option. Our team may help move players into a better-fitting group when needed so games stay fun, fair, and competitive for everyone.
What are the practice courts used for?
Pickleball Kingdom Pflugerville has two buildings: Building E and Building I. Building E has a half court, and Building I has a practice court upstairs in the mezzanine. These practice courts are available for training, drilling, warmups, ball-machine work, and casual practice. Members may reserve a practice court when available or use one briefly when it is open and no one is waiting. Non-reserved use may be limited so other members also have access.
Open Play
What is open play?
Open play is a scheduled session where players sign up, rotate games, and play with others at a similar skill level. It is one of the easiest ways to meet other players, get consistent games, and become part of the Pickleball Kingdom community.
What skill levels are available for open play?
Open play sessions are organized by skill level so players can find games that are fun, fair, and competitive. Current levels may include Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced Intermediate, 3.6+, 4.0+, and 4.5+ DUPR groups. If you do not have a DUPR rating, a Pickleball Kingdom coach can help place you in the right level and may also help assign an on-site rating when appropriate.
Can guests or non-members join open play?
Yes. Guests and non-members may join open play when space is available. Before playing, each guest must create a free account and complete the required waiver. Current drop-in pricing is shown in the registration app and may change, so guests should confirm the price when signing up.
How do I reserve open play?
Open play sessions are available on a first-come, first-served basis through our booking system. Select the session that matches your skill level and register in advance when possible.
What if an open play session is full?
If an open play session is full, you may be able to join the waitlist. When spots open, players on the waitlist may be added based on system rules and availability.
Can I cancel or change my open play registration?
Yes. Open play registrations can usually be canceled or changed through your account, subject to facility policies and timing rules. If you do not cancel within the required time, you may incur a cancellation fee. Please cancel as early as possible so another player has the opportunity to use that spot.
Court Reservations
Can I book a court in advance?
Yes. Members may book courts in advance based on membership type: Ace members may hold 1 reservation up to 7 days out, Team members may hold 2 reservations up to 14 days out, and Royal Family members may hold 3 reservations up to 21 days out. Once a reservation is completed or canceled, that reservation credit becomes available again. Non-members may also book private courts through our app or by calling the pro shop. Non-members can book private courts up to 2 days in advance.
How do unlimited court reservations work?
Your membership determines how many active court reservations you may hold at one time: Ace members can hold 1 reservation, Team members can hold 2 reservations, and Royal Family members can hold 3 reservations. Once a reservation is completed or canceled, that reservation spot opens immediately and you may book another available time. Team and Royal Family members may use reservations under one account or share them among people on the membership.
Can I reserve more than one hour?
A member or non-member may reserve one court for one hour at a time so courts remain available for more players. After your reserved hour ends, you may immediately book another available court time. If multiple members in a group each have reservation privileges, they may book consecutive times, subject to availability. If you want to book more than 1 hour, call the front desk at
512-543-1363 to check availability.
Are court reservations available 24/7?
Court reservations are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for eligible members, subject to court availability, scheduled open play, leagues, events, and programming. Court reservations during peak time, 6–10 PM Monday–Friday, have very limited availability but may still be reserved when available.
Can non-members reserve a court?
Court reservations are primarily a member benefit, but non-members may book private courts through our app or by calling the pro shop up to 2 days in advance, subject to availability. Non-members may also join a member's reservation as guests when space is available and may book the facility for private events, parties, and special occasions. For help, call
512-543-1363 or email
[email protected].
How are court reservations handled when a time is full?
Court reservations are available on a first-come, first-served basis through our booking system. If a court time is full, you may need to choose a different time or join a waitlist if one is available.
Can I cancel or change my court reservation?
Yes. Court reservations can usually be canceled or changed through your account, subject to facility policies and timing rules. If you do not cancel within the required time, you may incur a cancellation fee. Please cancel as early as possible so another player has the opportunity to use that court time.
